Jonathan Culbertson

Jonathan Culbertson joined InCheck in 2021 as Compliance Manager. Jonathan comes to InCheck with experience as a legal contractor for a Fortune 500 company, assisting the Employment Law Groups with compliance related to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, among others. Jonathan also previously served as a Criminal Justice Specialist, helping the Victims of Crime Act and Violence Against Women Act grantees maintain grant management systems to ensure compliance in order to continue to receive federal funding. As Compliance Manager, Jonathan helps the InCheck team and clients stay up to date with the constantly changing federal, state, and local laws and regulations that influence how background screenings should be conducted. He helps the team and clients better understand the requirements of laws such as the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act, applicable fair credit reporting state laws, equal employment opportunity laws, ban the box laws, salary history ban laws, and many other state and local law trends. Jonathan received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2016 and was admitted to the State of Pennsylvania Bar in 2018. Jonathan is a big Dallas Cowboys fan, a wannabe golfer, and an avid fisherman. He and his wife are the proud parents of a heart warrior!
