Service is an integral part of InCheck’s culture. We have always striven to provide the best service experiences for our clients and their applicants and to each other. This year, we want to elevate service to our community. One of InCheck’s initiatives for 2019 is to support organizations that make a difference in our local community. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee felt like the perfect fit for InCheck. They do an amazing job of pairing children with mentors who can have a positive impact on their lives.

On Friday, May 3rd, Big Brothers Big Sisters hosted its Annual “Bowling for Kids’ Sake” fundraiser at Bowlero in Wauwatosa. The event was held to celebrate the efforts of organizations and companies coming together to raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters.

This year’s event marked the first for InCheck! Our three teams of InCheckers raised $1,717 with the help of their colleagues, friends, and family. A big thank you to Jeremy Stiff, Hayley Stiff, Kala Green, Brittany Watson, Jessica Newcomb, Kaitlin Borsecnik, Victor Leon, Kimarie Rose, and David Ross for their participation in the event!

InCheckers Perspective

The event was a roaring success! Aside from raising money for an awesome organization, InCheck employees were able to spend time with each other outside of the office. The participants had a lot to say about the event.

InChecker Hayley loved participating, stating “it’s a great event to support our local community and it was a great way for InCheck employees to get together outside of work and have some fun! The Big Brothers Big Sisters program seems like a great organization that matches children with role models to help them succeed, so I think it’s a great program for InCheck to support and participate in the volunteering events.”

InChecker Victor loved that the event gave him the personal satisfaction of seeing just how the company he works for chooses to spend its charitable moments. He also enjoyed seeing “how the employees really care about the face of the company and our community. Way to go!”

Participating in the event for Big Brothers Big Sisters “Bowl for Kids’ Sake” fundraiser is just one of several great things happening in 2019! We’ve started a monthly donation drive with The Friendship House at The Cathedral Center in Milwaukee. In early June, InCheck will also begin working on a project with Milwaukee’s Urban Ecology Center Washington Park Location, and we will be walking in Briggs & Al’s Run and Walk in September.
